Each unit is based on the Gospel Reading for the Principal Sunday Service as defined by Common Worship Lectionary for Year A (Advent 2007 to eve of Advent 2008).

They are written as a resource for small Christian communities , cell groups, home groups and similar, but will be equally useful to preachers and teachers.

This new material supersedes New Way's Resource Booklet 11, first published in 1997 by Peter B Price. The new edition is being written by members of the New Way Team with Alister Palmer as the Editor. Peter Price, Bishop of Bath and Wells, is Consultant to New Way.
